Frequently Asked Questions

What is a summit?

A summit is a vibrant gathering that brings together experts, passionate practitioners, and enthusiastic learners to share insights and forge meaningful connections. Each day, we will start and end with live sessions and, through the day, videos of our speakers' presentations will be released.

During this event, you'll immerse yourself in inspiring presentations, interactive sessions, and ongoing discussions. It's a wonderful opportunity to network with empathetic and like-minded individuals, get answers to your questions, and leave equipped with practical tools to enhance your delivery of the course.

Join us to advance your IB Psychology professional learning journey in a welcoming and dynamic setting!

Where will the summit take place?

This is a virtual summit which means it takes place online. We chose this format to ensure that everyone has access, regardless of location. No expensive hotel and venue fees - just content that will increase your confidence in the teaching of IB Psychology.

When will it happen?

The dates are Friday the 26th to Sunday the 28th of July. We had planned for it to be a one-day event but are now extending it over 3 days due to the exciting and generous contributions of our speakers.

What if I can't make the date?

All sessions are pre-recorded. This is to enable teachers on holiday or who may even be working in July to access the sessions at their leisure. Attending the live sessions has the benefit of being able to ask questions in our live Q&A sessions, but these will also be recorded. If you attend live, you have the option of being invited to events such as co-working where you can make new connections and find teachers in the same (or nearby) time zones. But don't worry - whether you attend live or choose to view the recordings later, you'll get the same great content to apply to the school year ahead.

Is this free or paid?

Given our DEIB values, you are invited to attend the main sessions live without charge. You will also be able to access recordings for 48 hours after they go live. For attendees who decide to upgrade, you have ongoing access to all recordings and bonuses (such as a PD certificate, additional downloads, lesson plans, presentations slides and much, much more). The low price of the upgrade covers the tech costs associated with running and maintaining access. With our commitment to equity, we want to ensure that those who need it have access, so choose the option that works best for your situation.

How can I support this event?

We are actively seeking partnerships to help publicise our event. If you possess a substantial email list or social media presence, we'd love to connect and explore the mutual benefits of promoting our event together.

Additionally, sponsorship opportunities are available. If your organisation or company is interested in supporting us, please reach out. We are open to exploring various collaborative possibilities, both financial and otherwise, to achieve mutual success.

As an attendee, your participation is crucial. By filling out this form, you'll help us attract sponsors to cover event costs, keep admission free, and secure exclusive freebies and discounts for you.

Lastly, we would greatly appreciate it if you could help spread the word on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Direct people to our page and use the hashtag #psychwisehub to tag us. We’re excited to support and share your posts!
